Absolutely fabulous & rare antique Victorian era corner niche or vitrine style shelf, ornate Gothic styling with extensive scroll cut and turned fretwork, massive 35" size and remarkable condition! Isn't this one simply gorgeous! A great old Victorian era piece, wonderfully ornate in an always popular Gothic style. A wall mounted corner piece, it is an impressive 35" tall and just under 20" at its wides! Ornate fretwork, three covered niches with turned columns and arched overhangs, great to display a variety of treasures including, but definitely not limited to, religious sculptures of artifacts! A label on the back for the Winchester, England White & Co. Furniture Depositories. Amazing condition and immense visual appeal, don't miss it!
Very good condition! A few age or drying splits in some of the scroll cut work but, as you can see, the entire piece is in remarkable condition! No missing fretwork in the lower finial, no breaks or repairs that I can see in elsewhere. The piece appears to be in a lighter wood so it is relatively delicate. We'll need to ship this one via DHL ground due to the size so count on around $50 for continental US shipping. See pictures for measurements.
