Carved oak hall bench with lift top bench seat for storage. Circa 1880 and most likely English in origin, this is an amazing example of Victorian furniture and the hand carving is outstanding. Original dark oak finish is still present and looks terrific, with a bit of wear on the seat as to be expected. Original top carved gallery is still present, which is quite astounding as it is only held on with dowels and hasnâ??t been lost over the years. Bench measures 48 wide by 18 deep by 48 tall and 18 tall to the seat. Shipping will be $375, professionally packaged, with Plycon.
