ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BOHEMIAN ENGRAVED GLASS BOX CASKET |
An antique Bohemian cut to clear glass trinket box or casket decorated with a deeply engraved "spa" view of the Reinstein Castle in Germany. Various geometric patterns mingled with an array of engraved rocailles and scrolling foliate adorn each side of the box, including the bottom. The glass is a rich, amber yellow color and is surrounded by bronze mounts.
Measures 2 7/8" x 2 1/8" x 2 1/2" in height.
Condition: There is a hairline crack near the hinge located at the back of the box (please see photo.)
