Up for auction is a stunning Victorian Gone with the Wind lamp. The satin glass globes are decorated with a raised foliate scroll surrounding raised cherubs faces. The raised faces and foliate completely surround both globes.

This lamp was kerosene oil originally AND can be brought back if one wishes. There is an interesting turn key riser that lifts the globe and chimney for ease when lighting.

On the elevator knob it reads: "Gluck's Brenner Patent."

The lamp stands 24 3/4" tall, the chimney adds 3/4"more. The round upper globe measures approximately 9" in height. The lower "tapered globe" also measures approximately 9" in height. The fittings and burner are brass, while the base is cast iron. The center brass section and iron base measure approximately 4" in height each.

The lamp dates from the 1870's to 1880's.

Offered for sale at auction is this CHOICE CARVED 4 Piece 1880's Walnut Victorian Upholstered Parlor Set in good condition. The Parlor Set was completely reupholstered to restore it to its original condition. The settee is approximately 6 feet long. The settee and 3 matching chairs with original brass casters on the legs. The upholstery is probably over 20 years old and may need cleaned from a few small spots to be removed on the velvet fabric on settee not very noticeable. The backs of the frames of the chairs have some small nails driven in the back legs. see photos. Needs to be repaired by removing nails and re glue each chair and fill holes to match color from colored sand able putty to repair nail holes. Offered for sale at auction is this Beautiful Choice 7 1/2 ft. tall Circa 1880's transitional Victorian - Eastlake Burl Walnut Secretary Desk Bookcase. The desk has been professionally restored and ready for your home. The desk is a double wide legal size which is rare. I am guessing what the dimensions are as the desk is in storage now. The desk is about 4 feet wide by about 2 1/2 feet deep and about 7 1/2 tall. The entire piece was hand made and hand carved in the 1870's - 80's era. Notice the burl panels on the front of the desk. The desk is complete with a slant front drop down writing surface, very large pigeon hole interior with two drawers, large two door compartment in bottom base with a shelf, two side by side dovetailed drawers in bottom base, and two arched glass doors on top bookcase with adjustable shelves. The doors have locks with original key. All parts to the desk are completely original with the exception to a replaced pane of glass. The secretary desk bookcase is rare to be complete without any missing pieces or parts. I have not seen too many desks nicer than this one.

This is a victorian oil lamp complete with shade. It measures 28 inches tall from bottom to top of funnel and the column is 13 inches tall with a 5.5 inches wide base.
The base is made of brass and the base is stepped. This then makes way for the conrinthium column that is decorated with acanthus leaves at the top and ridges down the column. Above this is a crystal hand cut bowl for the oil with a dimpled design. Then you have the brass gallery with the knob that turns the wick and reads Duplex No. 2. Above this is fitted the clear funnel and then the shade which is a lovely bubble design and in the most lovely pink/mauve colour.
This is all in lovely order with no chips, cracks, breaks at all.
