Up for auction is a stunning Victorian Gone with the Wind lamp. The satin glass globes are decorated with a raised foliate scroll surrounding raised cherubs faces. The raised faces and foliate completely surround both globes.

This lamp was kerosene oil originally AND can be brought back if one wishes. There is an interesting turn key riser that lifts the globe and chimney for ease when lighting.

On the elevator knob it reads: "Gluck's Brenner Patent."

The lamp stands 24 3/4" tall, the chimney adds 3/4"more. The round upper globe measures approximately 9" in height. The lower "tapered globe" also measures approximately 9" in height. The fittings and burner are brass, while the base is cast iron. The center brass section and iron base measure approximately 4" in height each.

The lamp dates from the 1870's to 1880's.

Offered for sale at auction is this CHOICE CARVED 4 Piece 1880's Walnut Victorian Upholstered Parlor Set in good condition. The Parlor Set was completely reupholstered to restore it to its original condition. The settee is approximately 6 feet long. The settee and 3 matching chairs with original brass casters on the legs. The upholstery is probably over 20 years old and may need cleaned from a few small spots to be removed on the velvet fabric on settee not very noticeable. The backs of the frames of the chairs have some small nails driven in the back legs. see photos. Needs to be repaired by removing nails and re glue each chair and fill holes to match color from colored sand able putty to repair nail holes. Otherwise, the CHOICE Carved Walnut Parlor Set is in really good condition with no other minor cosmetic flaws that can be repaired without much time or materials involved. The minor repairs to the set can done by yourself if desired.

Offered for sale at auction is this Beautiful Choice 7 1/2 ft. tall Circa 1880's transitional Victorian - Eastlake Burl Walnut Secretary Desk Bookcase. The desk has been professionally restored and ready for your home. The desk is a double wide legal size which is rare. I am guessing what the dimensions are as the desk is in storage now. The desk is about 4 feet wide by about 2 1/2 feet deep and about 7 1/2 tall. The entire piece was hand made and hand carved in the 1870's - 80's era. Notice the burl panels on the front of the desk. The desk is complete with a slant front drop down writing surface, very large pigeon hole interior with two drawers, large two door compartment in bottom base with a shelf, two side by side dovetailed drawers in bottom base, and two arched glass doors on top bookcase with adjustable shelves. The doors have locks with original key. All parts to the desk are completely original with the exception to a replaced pane of glass. The secretary desk bookcase is rare to be complete without any missing pieces or parts. I have not seen too many desks nicer than this one.

Victorian Corinthium Column Oil Lamp with Shade

This is a victorian oil lamp complete with shade. It measures 28 inches tall from bottom to top of funnel and the column is 13 inches tall with a 5.5 inches wide base.
The base is made of brass and the base is stepped. This then makes way for the conrinthium column that is decorated with acanthus leaves at the top and ridges down the column. Above this is a crystal hand cut bowl for the oil with a dimpled design. Then you have the brass gallery with the knob that turns the wick and reads Duplex No. 2. Above this is fitted the clear funnel and then the shade which is a lovely bubble design and in the most lovely pink/mauve colour.
This is all in lovely order with no chips, cracks, breaks at all.

RARE LRGE DUTCH SILVER FIGURAL PERFUME BOTTLE FLASK

A fine 19thc Dutch glass perfume bottle flask with hinged cap. The faceted tapering glass body is fitted silver mounts embossed with figures around the body, and the top of the cap has a village and horse scene. There is a section of silver decoration missing at the top of the central section as can be seen in the images, and a possible repair to the hinge, still a good size unusual piece that still displays very well. The size is approx. 10" long by 2" wide. The silver is stamped with a tiny sword mark on the bottom and top sections. Up for auction is a Matching Set of 2 Very Fine English Sheffield Sterling Silver Sea Shell Form Serving Spoons. The Spoons are part of a Large Collection of Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last pictures.

The Serving Spoons are 2 of the Finest Quality examples we have seen. As you can see the Serving Spoons are Finely decorated on both sides, and have great Sea Shell Form Bowls. The Spoons have also never been monogrammed which is nice. The Spoon are also in Very Fine original condition with no dints, cracks, or repairs. The Spoons are also Very Thick Solid Sterling Silver throughout weighting a Quality 185 grams. The Spoons are also a nice size for practical use measuring 9 inches long, by 2 inches wide. The Spoons are hallmarked for Sheffield Sterling Silver the year 1893, along with the makers mark "HW", which I am sure if a Very Fine period Silversmith with this kind of Quality. Antique English Furniture...Victorian breakfront bookcase in Honduran mahogany, constructed in seven parts: a cornice in three parts, an upper section in three parts, and a one-piece lower section; the upper portion with a straight molded cornice above adjustable shelving enclosed by four glazed doors, the astragals forming two tiers of rectangles rising to a pointed Gothic arch; the lower portion with adjustable shelving enclosed by four cupboard doors, each with a panel surmounted by a flattened round arch; the whole raised on a molded plinth base. Length: 96"; depth at center section: 20-3/4"; height: 105-3/4". England, c. 1840-1845. Appraised at $20,000.

THE DESIGN IS BASED ON THE POPULAR MELON PATTERN BUT IT HAS ORNATE FLORAL CHASING SET AGAINST A MATTED BACKGROUND ON EACH PANEL. THE LOBED DESIGN AND THICK GAUGE MEAN THE BOWL IS VERY ROBUST WHICH ACCOUNTS FOR ITS EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE ARE NO DINGS OR BRUISES AND NO SIGNIFICANT SCRATCHES ANYWHERE. The table pulls out to accomodate five 10" leaves, the table is finely grained oak, the top has been well refinished to a high standard, the table will reduce to about 42" square without any leaves. The table is supported by five ring-turned and ribbed legs, terminating onto castors/wheels, this table would easily seat 12 people fully extended, dimensions; 97" long with all leaves x 42" deep x 29" tall, a good antique Victorian dining table circa 1880.

You are bidding on this 60 inch round Victorian dining room table with 5 leaves. Opened fully, this table is 10 feet. It has a heavy apron which runs around the perimeter of the table and on the leaves. The table looks great opened or closed. It is a two piece pedestal which will divide in half when you extend the table. If you look closely at the above pictures you will also see casters under the pedestal which help the base slide on the floor. This is a mahogany table imported from Indonesia. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BOHEMIAN ENGRAVED GLASS BOX CASKET

An antique Bohemian cut to clear glass trinket box or casket decorated with a deeply engraved "spa" view of the Reinstein Castle in Germany. Various geometric patterns mingled with an array of engraved rocailles and scrolling foliate adorn each side of the box, including the bottom. The glass is a rich, amber yellow color and is surrounded by bronze mounts.

Measures 2 7/8" x 2 1/8" x 2 1/2" in height.
